Some Don’t Qualify for Stimulus
I received the following from the IRS:
- You did not qualify for the Stimulus payment because your qualifying income was not high enough.
I’ve filed taxes all my life, lost my stepson to murder two years ago, and am in the process of getting a divorce (one year now). I have received assistance neither from nonprofit organizations nor from any church group. I don’t qualify for food stamps because I own a car and a home. I can no longer afford to live in my own home and am unemployed due to the housing crisis. Yet, nothing about my circumstance qualifies me for assistance.
i didn’t get mine either and i’m homeless and employed. the library lets me make this post.
